date : 8 September 2008 time : 0225hrs Helluez! WHAT A NIGHT IT WAS!! Yesterday me and Zaf went to watch Avril Lavigne's concert in Singapore Indoor Stadium.. it was awesome.. Zaf won 2 free tickets to the concert and he asked me along.. maybe I'm his bestfriend that's why he asked me.. heh.. at first I thought it's gonna be KENTAL for me to watch Avril's concert but to think of it, I love punk rock and Avril's concept is punk rock.. so I put away the embarassments and just went for it.. Before going for the concert, I met up with Zaf at Serangoon CC.. I need to get my watch which I left the day before after drama training.. then the both of us went Ang Mo Kio to take train to City Hall.. it's nearly 1908hrs so we brake our fast at Peninsula Plaza's new foodcourt.. after our meal, we took cab to Singapore Indoor Stadium which is not far away.. when we reached, we quickly get into our seats and wait excitedly.. there's so many people.. OLD people and of course, kids.. maybe the concert are too kental for people around my age.. haha.. the opening act was performed by a dance crew called "Styles from Beyond".. they can dance well.. reminds me of the Jabbawockeez.. after that, a performance by "Perky Voice" (something like that - that's what I heard when they introduced themselves).. I hate their vocalist.. she's not entertaining, she can't sing and I donno what the hell she's singing.. I wonder why Singapore chose that band as an opening act for Avril's concert.. the rest of the band members were ok except that the lead guitarist like macam paham running here and there and jumping even when there's no beat to jump to.. by the way, he looks like some nerdy apek who thinks he plays the guitar like GreenDay's Billy Joe.. well, he dressed like Billy Joe.. The irritating opening performances ended at 2040hrs.. we waited till 2110hrs till Avril finally came out.. she started off by singing "Girlfriend".. I f**kin' love the drummer.. he played the drums like he's having sex with it.. but too bad, he looks abit old for a punk rocker.. haha.. anyway, during the concert, Avril played different types of instruments.. she played the piano when she's singing "when you're gone", she even played drums for one of her songs.. but during most of her songs, she played the guitar.. she's damn talented, just like her husband, Deryk Whibley from Sum 41.. it was the best damn concert.. on second thought, naaaah.. I think Avenged Sevenfold's concert is way more better.. it ended at about 2240hrs after she sings "Sk8er Boy" as her final song for her concert.. me and Zaf really enjoyed her performances.. after the show, the both us slack for awhile outside the stadium and we went home after that.. I really wanna thank Zaf for giving me the opportunity to watch Avril Lavigne's concert.. well, actually it's one of his dreams to be upclose with Avril.. now, his dream came true.. and Zaf is THE BEST DAMN BESTFRIEND.. And later, I'm meeting my BEST DAMN GIRLFRIEND after her work.. hehe.. I'll accompany her to school after that..
